Who Noo is for
Noo is for the groups you already share your life with, and want a place for that doesn’t feel like a shopping centre. It’s made with people aged 25 to 45 in mind: you grew up with social networks, you live in a few group chats, and maybe you think twice now before posting a photo of your kids.
Families
Photos of the kids for the grandparents, without putting them on a social network. A Family circle is locked: only its members can open what’s in it, and Noo’s server can’t. Photos leave the server after 7 days, and whoever wants to keep one taps Keep.
Christmas or the summer holidays get their own experience, away from the everyday chat.
Friends
Old friends, the climbing group, the people from your first job. Each group is its own circle with its own colour, so you always know who’ll see what. Nothing is public: only the circle’s members can see it.
Your building, your club, the shops nearby
A place is for the people around you: the building’s noticeboard, the club’s news, the bakery’s opening hours. Organisers decide who joins, and a shop only shows up when they invite it. Places aren’t locked like circles: Noo’s server can read them, and the screen says so.
15 and over
Noo is for people aged 15 and over. You confirm it once when you sign up.
Who it’s not for
If you want to reach people you don’t know, Noo won’t help: nothing is public, and nobody can pay to be seen.
